How to cancel or close coverage

How to:

In this article, you will learn how to cancel or close coverage for a contractor or unit

There are 2 ways to cancel coverage in CBA depending of what you'd like to do. 

A) Cancel a single line of coverage 

B) Cancel all lines of coverage and close the contractor/unit record

A) Cancel a single line of coverage 

  1. Navigate to the Unit level (to cancel vehicle coverage) or Contractor Level (to cancel non-vehicle coverage)
  2. Click "Close" on the line of coverage you'd like to cancel
  3. A dialogue box will open. Enter the termination date and click "Close"
  4. Once it turns yellow, the coverage has been closed. The effective dates will be shown on the right. 

Pro tip: if you entered an incorrect effective date you can click reopen and do the process again

B) Cancel all lines of coverage and close the contractor/unit record

  1. Navigate to the Unit level (to cancel vehicle coverage) or Contractor Level (to cancel non-vehicle coverage)
  2. Click "Close" on the tool bar
  3. Enter the termination date
  4. Click "Use Date for All"
  5. Click "Confirm Close" . All the lines of covrage under the unit or contractor record will be clsed with the same termination date. Aling with the unit/contractor record
